About the story

The Last Voice is an audio drama series about surviving the end of the world. Planned for multiple seasons the main character, Gabe Blythe, updates anyone who is listening on his adventures. As he tries to rebuild, connect and survive whatever caused, as he calls it, “The Event.”

Where most post-apocalyptical stories focus on the rebuilding of the world or action, The Last Voice exposes the horrors of prolonged isolation. A story of single person trying to connect to a world that can’t hear him or won’t, every week Gabe tries to connect to you. Inspiring hope and finding a connection to anyone who is willing to listen.

Season 1 is now complete. Now is the time to uncover this strange world as you and Gabe learn more together in this ever growing story.

About the creator

David Jeffress (Fae/Faer)

The Last Voice was created, edited and performed by David Jeffress

David was born in California and has traveled the nation listening to stories and always wanted to share faer own.

The idea of The Last Voice started as a YouTube series in 2011, but due to David’s passion for audio drama’s and podcasting, fae focused on a story that wasn’t interrupted by sponsors or credits. An experience from start to finish without distractions. Inspired by audio dramas such as Ruby the Galactic Gumshoe, The Magnus Archives, Darkest Night, and Within the Wires, David wants to challenge story telling and inspire others to tell their own story.

David will spend most of his time living in a fantasy world, if fae’s not being distracted by faes cats, partners or a new video game.
